|Recommended: NoSherman Oaks Alister is Perfect Except the Noise — Sherman Oaks Alister is a great place for living, great environment, careful maintenance, wonderful management team, and interesting community events. The only unsatisfactory thing is the noise. It's not only that the construction material is not good for sound insulation but also some tenants are not considerate enough.

|Recommended: NoRidiculous — Everything started really well, but problems started to show as both managers in the leasing office left. First we had a long and ridiculous washing machine problem that started by maintenance crew completely disregarding for months that our washer is ruining our clothes with some kind of oil leaking. From the first work order we submitted it took them 2 months to get us a brand new washing machine which still isn't brand new. It's from one of the showroom apartments. Then this month, November during the lowest temperatures several times the hot water went out in the morning. Each day they fixed it in the afternoon, but can you tell me how many people are actually leaving to work in the afternoon In the last 3 days right before Thanksgiving we have no hot water in our apartment. So they ask me to remain patient, but I cannot stay patient when I have to shower with cold water while it's 55 degrees outside and I have to pay THE FULL AMOUNT OF RENT when the staff and the crew is failing big time. I'm sorry but I've ran out of my patience.

The work orders are always completed in a timely matter. All I can say is that I've been here since 2005 and will continue to live here at Alister Sherman Oaks

Not much more to ask for — It's awesome living here - the convenience of the freeway, the prime SO location, modern features, open floor plan, low noise levels, outstanding maintenance staff and pet friendly Wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
