Him and the whole team has gone above and beyond to immediately jump on any service request and any problems throughout the building. |Recommended: NoThis place started out amazing with its proximity to Whole Foods and many other advantages. The staff is the crown jewel, DJ is a great manager and guy in general and the maintenance staff of Loyd and Saul really care about the building and the community. The frustration is that we have had an elevator out of service for over a full month and it was unbelievably slow to begin with. The worst part is that they raise the rent by a maximum amount every year. There is no sense of loyalty for being a good tenant. My unit is immaculate and I have and always will pay rent and bills on time and in full but they still will raise the rent I even tried to negotiate a smaller increase of just 5 which I felt was actually LARGE and they told me they didn't care again I've always paid in full and on time Just be advised that if you decide to live here you may find yourself needing to go through the agony of moving in just a few years as the rent increases compound on your finances.

|Recommended: YesUtilities — love living here but lately everything is breaking. Elevator breaks every other week and now it has been a week and still nothing. Stairs are not the safest when wanting to go out of the building and the only option is to go through the side entrances where you never know what kind of people are hanging out by the alley or Sepulveda.
In my apartment thing are falling apart right and left. Washer has broken around 3 times since i’ve been living here, dishwasher just broke and water was coming out of everywhere, the kitchen counter is basically sinking in the middle. Its too many things for how much we have to pay.

|Recommended: YesAlister Sherman Oaks — ASO, as the staff here call it, has been a lovely home. It's right at the bottom of the hills, and commutes are 20 minutes faster to everywhere because we're near the 405 101. Whole Foods, Mizlala and Blue Dog are walkable, and it's a quiet little neighborhood full of dogs and bike riding residents. There are donuts for residents each Saturday, the building is well taken care of, and it's clear that the team here really care about making our stay the very best it can be.
I'm excited to start my third year here, and to see what the future holds.

|Recommended: YesAmazing Leasing Manager, Karim — I was between 2 different apartment properties, and the ONLY reason I chose this one is because of the leasing manager, Karim. He was so personable, warm, and welcoming that it was a no brainer. He has been on top of everything, easy to get a hold of, and super friendly. I’ve appreciated his presence so much Feels like having a big brother next door. I love my apartment and the building, and my neighbors have all been so great and friendly also. I am so excited to live here

|Recommended: YesThe Alister brings its A-game — Still in the process of moving in, but I know I made the right choice. Karim DJ in the office have been SO nice and helpful, and everyone seems really friendly in the building. I've also been very happy to see that all residents appear to be wearing masks when they are out and about. The location can't be beat, and the apartment is in great shape with a terrific kitchen, great water pressure throughout, and just an overall great vibe. The only things to which I did not give 5-stars are the noise, because apparently elephants are renting the apartment above mine and I can hear every footstep they take, and construction, because the A C is really loud. But those are both things I am sure I'll get used to, and everything else is fantastic. Can't wait to finally be moved in
